  • Ms. Dhanashri Pant MSc. 1 year student got second prize in National Science day Quato competition held at SGBAU university, Amravati on 25th February 2018.

  • Ms. Pooja Butley & Ms. Chanchal Pohekar from M.Sc. I year student has presented Poster based on Cyber Crime in Avishkar 2018

  • Ms. Namrata Deshmukh & Ms. Monika Padghan from M.Sc. II year student has presented model based on pavegen technology in Avishkar 2018

  • Mr. Mangesh N. Sirkare & Mr. Vaibhav N. Rajgure from M.Sc. I year student has presented Working Model on IOT based home automation and home security in Avishkar 2018.

  • Ms. Tejal Patel M.Sc student got IInd merit and Mr. Ashish Kadam got V th merit in SGBAU, University, Amravati in 2016.

  • Ku. Mitali patil received second prize in University Level Inter collegiate Seminar Competition for M.Sc. held at G. S Science, Arts & Commerce College, Khamgaon on 27 February 2016.

  • Vipin palaspagar, student of B.Sc. final year, participated in Avishkar 2015-16 in SGBAU, university, Amravati Under the guidance of computer Science department.

  • Ms. Minal S. Riachura M.Sc student got IInd merit in SGBAU, University, Amravati in 2014.


  • Dr. B. S. Chinchmalatpure has awarded Ph.D at 23 February 2017.

  • Ms S. R. Chavan has cleared the NET (National Eligibility Test) exam in 2017 and SET(State Eligibility Test) exam in 2016.

  • Dr. B. S. Chinchmalatpure, got best paper award in research paper presented in 3rd National Conference on Sustainable Computing and Communication for development at Prof. Ram Meghe Institute of Technology and Research, Badnera, during February 12th & 13th, 2016.

About Us

Bharatiya Mahavidyalaya Amravati established in 1963, is the first educational institution under the management of Bharatiya Vidya Mandir. Four founder members of the society, who were lecturers in different colleges on permanent basis, left their job to work together as teacher with a new mission and purpose. The senior most among the group, Shri AnnaSaheb Vaidya was selected as the first Principal of the college.
Starting with the two faculties of Arts & Commerce, the college over the years has earned the reputation as the first college in Amravati to have all the three faculties of Arts, Commerce and Science under one roof. The college is situated in its own campus at Rajapeth on the National Highway, easily accessible from all parts of Amravati city. The college is affiliated to Amravati University and it offers instruction through English and Marathi medium.
